Q: Will this fit in the 2023 model Y?

A: It fits my 2022, no problem. They didn't change that part of the car. It does tend to slide its little tracks very easily

Q: How do I take it out? It seems simple enough, but mine won't come out.

A: Simple. have the tray in the forward position, then as you slide it back, you lift and out.

Q: Will it work in the 2018 Model 3?

A: Not suitable for 2018 Model 3.

Q: Does this tray cover the USB-c plugs?

A: The tray is shallow enough that it does not block the 2 USB-C jacks in the compartment's front wall.

Q: Does it affect the closing and opening of the center console lid?

A: It does not! I was worried about that, too, but it opens and closes with no problems. I highly recommend it

Great items for the price

Tesla console trays fit perfect and the material is of a very high quality. Easy to use.

Front Storage good, Rear Storage Cheap Made

The forward center storage fits great. The rear storage organizer under the armrest is cheap made, and the slightest pressure downwards bends and pushes the organizer down into the storage unit.

Does the job

The tray works well (and frankly, shame on Tesla for not having this simple insert already included in the price of a $60k car.) The flocking feels nice and the tray slides easily. I rated as 4 stars because it slides a little too easily - upon spirited driving, when I open the center console cover I find that the tray has slid towards the front of the car. Not a big deal but would be nice if it stayed in place.

Great to use but…

The organizer isn’t rigid so if you put something heavy on it, it sags.

Different than in the pictures. Too small for iPhone 13

I bought one early in 2022 and this fall 2022 one is different than the ones in the picture. Materials and fit have same quality. However, the length is shorter. Sadly so short that my iPhone 13 with a slim case on no longer fits in the main compartment. My wallet barely fits as well. Hence just 3 stars overall. I wish it is the same size as early 2022.
