Supports charging rates up to 150 kW (note: charging rates also depend on Tesla's battery capacity and charging station specifications).

This CCS adapter is rated for a maximum of 500V and 300A - and operates from -22°F to 122°F.

The CCS adapter is fully compatible with all Tesla models that support CCS.

This CCS charging adapter will lock while charging and will be temperature monitored - at 179°F the current will be reduced (depending on Tesla system); at 188.6°F the current will be cut off until the ambient temperature returns).

Any Tesla built before October 2020 will require ECU retrofit to enable CCS. Check vehicle settings for any Tesla built since October 2020 to ensure CCS compatibility: Control> Software>Additional Vehicle Information> CCS Adapter Support-Check If Enabled. Any Tesla built before 2014 will be excluded from CCS.

Q: Does this adapter have a lock?

A: Yes, it will be locked when charging. Remember to take it off when charging is done.

Q: Can this use a J1772 level 2 charger?

A: No, this only applies to CCS1.

Q: The adapter is designed for 150kw. Could it be higher?

A: Theoretically, it has a capacity of over 150kw, but for safety reasons, please do not use it over 150kw.

Q: Is it available for jeep 4xe?

A: The CCS1 adapter is for Tesla vehicles only. It does not work with other EV vehicles.
