A: Hi, it is plastic. And harder than vinyl. Easy to install with 3M adhesive back.

Great at covering the Tesla wood grain!

I purchased this trim as I dislike the use of wood in autos. Although a Faux pattern, this was an inexpensive way to delete the wood look. As it’s an overlay, I’d does add a little thickness to the outside edges which make contact with the upper door trim. No damage has occurred, but you can definitely see the indents after the application.
