About two ways
Tesla can connect to the phone in two ways: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Bluetooth allows you to use your phone for calls, media, and navigation. Wi-Fi allows you to access features that require data usage, such as streaming music and media, live traffic visualization, and more. You can subscribe to Premium Connectivity to access all connectivity features over cellular, in addition to Wi-Fi1. To pair your phone to your Tesla using Bluetooth, you need to enable Bluetooth on both devices and follow the steps on the touchscreen. To connect your phone to your Tesla using Wi-Fi, you need to be within range of a router and enter the Wi-Fi password on the touchscreen.
